Circus Alba – Santa’s Grotto
Terms and Conditions of Entry and Purchase

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of tickets and participation in the Santa’s Grotto Experience (the “Experience”) operated by Circus Alba (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By purchasing tickets, attending the Experience, or ordering any related products, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Booking and Payment
- All bookings must be made through our approved booking platform or authorised ticket agents.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received and a confirmation email issued.
- Please check all details carefully before completing your booking, as errors cannot always be corrected later.
- Tickets are valid only for the date and time stated on your booking confirmation.
2. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling
- Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, except where required by law.
- If you are unable to attend, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to reschedule your visit, subject to availability.
- In the unlikely event that we must cancel or significantly alter the Experience (for example, due to severe weather, technical failure, or staff illness), we will offer either an alternative date or a full refund.
- Refunds will be made within a reasonable period only to the original purchaser and by the same method of payment.
3. Arrival and Admission
- Please arrive 5 minutes before your allocated time slot. Late arrivals may not be admitted, and refunds will not be issued.
- Each child must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged 18 or over) at all times.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive to other guests.
4. The Experience
- Every effort will be made to deliver the Experience as described, though minor variations may occur due to operational requirements.
- Each paying child will receive a small gift from Santa as part of their visit; gifts are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
- Parents/guardians remain responsible for their children’s safety and conduct at all times.
5. Photography, Media, and Personal Data
- Visitors are welcome to take personal photographs and videos, provided they do not interfere with the Experience or other guests.
- By attending, you consent to Circus Alba’s staff taking photographs or video footage for marketing and promotional use. If you prefer not to be included, please inform a member of staff on arrival.
- Personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, photographs) will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
6. Custom Photo Products (Cards, Mugs, Prints, etc.)
- Guests may purchase optional printed products featuring their Snow Globe photographs. These items are fulfilled through approved third-party print-on-demand suppliers.
- Orders are placed and paid for separately from the main Experience.
- Once a custom photo product has been submitted for printing, it cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded unless faulty.
- Circus Alba is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or third-party suppliers but will assist in resolving any issues.
- Please ensure photographs uploaded or provided by you do not infringe any copyright, privacy, or intellectual-property rights.
7. Liability and Safety
- Circus Alba shall take all reasonable steps to ensure a safe environment; however, attendance is at your own risk.
- We shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property or for any injury, except where caused by our negligence or breach of statutory duty.
- Circus Alba shall not be liable for any injury of attendees, due to the fact that parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision of their children throughout their visit.
8. Accessibility and Special Requirements
- We welcome all visitors and aim to make the Experience as accessible as possible.
- Please inform us of any accessibility needs or special requirements at the time of booking so that suitable arrangements can be made. A recommendation may be made to attend one of our Special Educational Needs sessions.
9. Changes to the Experience
- We reserve the right to alter opening hours, session lengths, or specific activities when necessary for operational, safety, or weather-related reasons.
- Wherever possible, guests will be notified of significant changes in advance.
- No refund will be offered in the case of minor changes (e.g. different gift wrapping) which do not materially affect the nature of the Experience.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
